Bus Express connections between Marco Polo Airport and Venice

There are two no-stop bus services linking Marco Polo Airport and Venice. Passengers will travel on air-conditioned buses with plenty of baggage space as well as free WiFi.

 

The first ATVO Bus Express connects Venice Marco Polo Airport to Mestre Railway Station in just 17-20 minutes. There are frequent departures throughout the day all year round.

Look for Atvo bus stop at the platforms located outside the airport and Mestre Railway Station. There you find dedicated staff at your disposal for any further information.

  • return ticket, 18 €
  • children up to 3 years travel for free

 

When booking a return ticket, you only need to select the date of your outbound journey. Online tickets are valid for the whole selected day of your trip.

How to reach Venice Mestre Railway Station from Marco Polo Airport

The second ATVO Bus Express connects Venice Marco Polo to Piazzale Roma from where you can reach your final destination on foot, by water-bus or water-taxi.

This shuttle bus service is the fastest and cheapest way to get to Venice city centre. It takes indeed only 20 minutes with frequent departures all days from early morning to late night.

Prices are the same as for the bus service to/from Mestre Railway Station. In both cases online tickets do not need to be printed, just show them to the bus driver on your smartphone screen.

Water taxi transfer between Marco Polo Airport and your hotel in Venice

This is definitely an unique experience that you can only have in Venice as you will enjoy a scenic boat ride across the lagoon to your hotel in Venice city centre.

Meeting point is at desk 71 at Marco Polo Airport, located in the Arrivals hall (turn left when exiting from the baggage claim area).

This is a shared taxi service so every passenger is allowed to bring one suitcase and one hand luggage. Fees apply for additional items.

Journey time is between 50-100 minutes as it depends on hotels location. For less-accessible destinations on inner canals, a designated meeting point will be decided that is within walking distance of your accomodation.

Water taxi transfer is available also during the night – from 4 am to 8 am and from 9:30 pm to 11:30 pm – with a small surcharge.

  • round-trip transfer, 70 € (daytime) and 80 € (nighttime)

Treviso International Airport is located about 25 Km from Venice and it is used by low cost airlines like Ryanair and Wizz Air.

The ATVO Bus Express connects Treviso Airport to Mestre Railway Station and Piazzale Roma in Venice with no-stop services that runs according to flights arrival and departure times.

Journey time from Treviso Airport to Mestre is 50 minutes whilst to Piazzale Roma in Venice is 1h 10 m.
